How does focusing on economic benefits help to promote physical activity? Find out on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. ET during the latest Connect & Explore webinar, Create Thriving, Activity-Friendly Communities with NCCOR.

An expert panel will demonstrate how to use NCCOR’s newest tool, Create Thriving, Activity-Friendly Communities: Making the Case for Investments in Activity-Friendly Communities, and discuss how focusing on economic benefits can promote physical activity.

Featured speakers include:

  • Hatidza Zaganjor, MPH, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

  • Cole Youngner, MPH, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

  • Mark Fenton, MS, adjunct associate professor at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and public health, planning, and active transportation consultant.

NCCOR’s newest tool can help communities meet the demand for inclusive spaces that promote physical activity. It contains a customizable presentation, talking points, research articles, and a factsheet to share. NCCOR recently added an Economic Indicators Library to help communities develop equitable initiatives where all residents can thrive.
