NCCOR’s Tools in Action: Featuring the Summer Physical Activity and Friendship Study

On March 5, 2020 the National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR) is hosting its first student-focused Connect & Explore Webinar. The webinar  will feature Tyler Prochnow, a Baylor University graduate student, who will share his experience using NCCOR’s Measures Registry to enhance his project with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. His longitudinal study aims to add to the literature surrounding the decrease in physical activity over summer and elaborate on the role friends play in physical activity behavior.

This webinar is a great opportunity for students to hear first-hand how the Measures Registry Resource Suite can help students with their research and classwork. There will also be a chance for students to ask questions directly to NCCOR members who work at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health.

Join us on Thursday, Mar. 5 at 2:00 p.m. ET, for the one-hour webinar.

Register today to receive webinar access. The event is free, but attendance is limited.

Invite a colleague and share this information on your social networks using the hashtag #ConnectExplore. We will live tweet during the event at @NCCOR. For those who cannot attend, the webinar will be recorded and archived on www.nccor.org/webinars.
