ALR research summaries and briefs available

The chief aim of Active Living Research (ALR) is to increase knowledge about active living by supporting research to identify environmental factors and policies that can increase physical activity and prevent childhood obesity, particularly among children in low-income and racial or ethnic minority communities.

Research from the fields of health, planning, transportation, and recreation is growing rapidly, and much can be learned from the studies to date.
