Visit NCCOR Virtually at APHA and ObesityWeek Interactive

A lot of things look different this year, including conferences. Virtual conferences are a great opportunity to network and learn something new and give you the flexibility to view sessions and posters at a time that works for you.

NCCOR is excited to virtually attend the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and ObesityWeek® Interactive.

Join us at APHA for our virtual exhibit booth and poster, Measures for children at high risk for obesity: Choosing whether to apply/adapt/or develop a measure for my research population. The poster will highlight a new resource for researchers and practitioners to help determine whether to develop, adapt, or apply a measure for use in a high-risk population. The poster is available on demand from October 20– November 3, 2020.

NCCOR staff will also be available at our virtual exhibit booth 1819. Stop by to download resources, or ask us any questions about our tools and resources via the chat function!

The following week, NCCOR will be presenting a poster at ObesityWeek® Interactive. The poster titled Assessing Childhood Obesity: A New Guide to Help Facilitate Choosing the Most Appropriate Measure gives an overview of NCCOR’s newest resource, A Guide to Methods for Assessing Childhood Obesity and walks viewers through the features of the guide. The poster will be available on demand from November 2–December 31, 2020.

NCCOR is excited for the opportunity to share our resources with you virtually, and we look forward to meeting you in person in the future!
