In 2022, NCCOR hosted a public workshop titled, “Implementation Science & Childhood Obesity: Sparking Conversations and Actions to Advance Equity.” The workshop offered an introduction to implementation science for researchers working in childhood obesity, nutrition, and physical activity.
The workshop highlighted several experts in the field and provided examples of implementation science “in action” by illustrating approaches to advance equity across the phases of pre-implementation, implementation, and sustainability for childhood obesity, nutrition, and physical activity interventions.
