On September 14, NCCOR is hosting part two of a three-part Connect & Explore webinar series on Evaluating Health Care-Community Collaborations. The webinar will feature two case studies highlighting strategies used by hospitals to engage communities in addressing childhood obesity. - Victoria Rogers, MD, Director, Let’s Go! The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. Dr. Rogers will present Let’s Go!, a nationally recognized childhood obesity prevention program implemented throughout Maine and in several communities in neighboring states. Let’s Go! partners with schools, child care centers, healthcare practices, and community organizations to change environments where children and families live, learn, work, and play.
- Ihuoma Eneli, MD, MS, FAAP, Professor of Pediatrics, The Ohio State University, Director, Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition, Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Eneli will share how the Primary Care Obesity Network (PCON) works with Nationwide Children’s Hospital to provide evidence based obesity care in neighborhood primary clinics.
