NCCOR to present and exhibit at the Society of Behavioral Medicine Annual Meeting April 11–14, 2018

The National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR) will highlight the Measures Registry and User Guides at the Society of Behavioral Medicine’s (SBM) 39th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions April 11–14, 2018, in New Orleans. The SBM Annual Meeting brings together approximately 2,400 multidisciplinary researchers and clinicians to examine the role of behavior in improving health.

Authors of the Measures Registry User Guides—Dr. Leslie Lytle, Dr. Sharon Kirkpatrick, and Dr. James Sallis—will participate in a panel discussion on April 12, 2018, at 12:45 p.m. CT to discuss enhancing measures selection using the Measures Registry and share real-world examples. The Measures Registry is a searchable database of over 1,200 discrete measures related to physical activity and nutrition. Four accompanying User Guides provide an overview of measurement, describe general principles of measurement selection, and present case studies.

NCCOR will be in the SBM Annual Meeting Exhibition Hall (booth 11) throughout the meeting to share resources and information about the Measures Registry, User Guides, the Youth Compendium of Physical Activities, the Catalogue of Surveillance Systems, and more!

Follow @NCCOR on Twitter and Facebook and use the hashtag #SBM2018 to stay connected during the meeting. We look forward to meeting everyone in New Orleans!
