On September 14, 2016, NCCOR hosted part two of a three-part Connect & Explore webinar series on Evaluating Health Care-Community Collaborations. The webinar featured two case studies highlighting strategies used by hospitals to engage communities in addressing childhood obesity. Speakers included Victoria Rogers, MD, Director, Let’s Go! The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center; and Ihuoma Eneli, MD, MS, FAAP, Professor of Pediatrics, The Ohio State University, Director, Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition, Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Speakers discussed efforts to assess the reach, effectiveness, adoption, impact, and maintenance of hospital-based programs at the community level.
