On October 23, the National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR) hosted a Connect & Explore webinar titled, “Innovations in Behavioral Design to Enhance Active Living and Healthy Eating.” The webinar featured three speakers from the 2017 NCCOR-sponsored symposium at the Environmental Design and Research Association (EDRA). The symposium featured several authors of NCCOR’s Health, Behavioral Design, and the Built Environment White Paper. This webinar highlighted design guidelines that enhance active living and healthy eating in schools as well advancements in the field since the 2017 symposium. Speakers included Jeri Brittin, PhD, HDR; Joel Kimmons, PhD, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Kim Rollings, PhD, University of Notre Dame.
